LAKIOO Player for android
Installation Guide
1. Make sure your Android device is connected to the internet, the setup cannot be completed without it
2. Download LAKIOO Player Setup for Android on your device, or onto a USB drive
3. Strongly Recommended – For improved stability, we recommend to also download LAKIOO Player Watchdog
4. If you saved the setup files onto a USB drive, insert the drive into your Android device
5. First, locate the LAKIOO Player apk file and click on it to begin installation
6. Begin the installation, a warning message might appear, if it does, click “Continue“
7. Start the installation process by clicking the “Install” button
8. Google Play Protect App scan window might appear, if you want to, you can scan the app or you can skip the scan by clicking the “Install without scanning”
9. After LAKIOO Player has been installed, click the “Done” button so it doesn’t open immediately.
10. Locate the LAKIOO Watchdog apk, this app ensures that LAKIOO Player works smoothly
11. Install the LAKIOO Watchdog apk the same way you installed LAKIOO Player
12. After the installation completes, click “Done“
13. Navigate to your Home Screen and open the LAKIOO Player app
14. Because this is a fresh installation of LAKIOO Player, you will be greeted by our Quick setup guide. If you already own the LAKIOO Player for Android license key, enter it here and click on “Activate“, if you don’t own one yet, you can click on “Start free 7-day trial”.
15. After entering your licence key or starting a free trial, enter a name for your player and choose a password. Then click “Apply settings” and continue to the next step.
16. Optional – Log in to your LAKIOO Cloud account, creating the account is completely free, you can register here: LAKIOO Cloud Registration LAKIOO Cloud account is not necessary, in order to use LAKIOO Player.
17. If you logged into LAKIOO Cloud, you will be asked to give permission to Access files, click Allow to be able to import projects. If you didn’t log into LAKIOO Cloud, you will be asked for this permission when importing your first project via USB.
18. You have just completed Quick setup – in order to finalize the setup process, click the “System Settings” button, located under the “Maintenance” section
19. From list of apps, select LAKIOO Watchdog as a Default Home App
20. Now click the Back button to go back to
21. After setting LAKIOO Watchdog as the Default Home App, you can now import a project. The project can be imported into any LAKIOO Player by saving it onto a USB drive and plugging it into the android device.
After first plugging in the USB drive, you might get prompted to Allow access to manage files, click Allow for LAKIOO Player to work properly.
22. Click Back to return back to LAKIOO Player.
23. Wait for “Project transfer finished successfully” message, after it dissappears you can safely unplug the USB drive.
24. Or, if you have already logged into LAKIOO Cloud, you can use it instead, and publish a project to your player(s) from anywhere in the world!
25. And that’s it, enjoy your fresh insallation of LAKIOO Player.
