Major update 1.5.0 changelog
New widget category – Games!
- Tic-Tac-Toe – A classic game for two players, where players take turns placing crosses (X) and circles (O) in a 3×3 grid. The goal is to create a continuous row of three identical symbols horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
- Memory Game – Another popular classic for two players, where players take turns finding matching pairs of pictures. In our app, you can set up to 50 pairs, and the player who collects the most pairs wins!
- Puzzle game – A game for one player who tries to put together a complete picture from scattered puzzle pieces. When creating a project, you can choose how many pieces and therefore how difficult the puzzle game should be.
Project scheduling
- Play EVERY day schedule – a project with this setting enabled will play every day at the set time from the start date until the end date, so you don’t have to publish the same project multiple times for each subsequent day anymore.
LAKIOO Cloud – Player management
- Project playlist – Each Player displays a clear overview of projects in a chronological table. The table shows the order and start time of project playback.
- Displaying current information – Unsuccessful project publish will now be displayed in the header of the drop-down menu for each Player, so you can see at a glance whether the publish was successful for all Players or not.
- Project deletion – Deleting old or expired projects that take up unnecessary disk space is now much easier. Simply log in to your LAKIOO Cloud account and remotely delete projects via Creator.
- License expiration warning – 30 days before the license expires, each Player will display a warning that the license is about to expire and needs to be renewed.
- Refresh button – We have also added a refresh button to manually refresh player information for conveniece, so that the displayed information is updated at will.
- Unpairing online players – We have added the option to unpair online players.
Project publish
- Low disk space warning – When selecting devices on the publishing screen, a warning will now be displayed in the LAKIOO Cloud section if the Player has insufficient disk space. If a player is unable to download a project due to lack of space, this information is immediately visible to the user.

Project media refresh
- The ” refresh media” button on the left side of the project will refresh all media in all the widgets that are used in your currently opened project. If you have lots of media files on each page and you make changes to the content, e.g., price adjustments, etc., you no longer need to change them manually in the widget. Instead, simply overwrite the files in your PC with updated files of the same name and press the “Update Media” button to refresh all media used in the project. This will significantly speed up content changes, especially in non-interactive projects.
Bug and error fixes
- Fixed preview error in the video widget.
- Fixed error when importing a project that is already in Creator.
- Fixed copying multiple widgets at once.
- Fixed notification about publishing a project to a Player that does not have enough space.
We advice you to first Deactivate the lincence in the older version of LAKIOO Creator and after it, upgrade it to newer.Â

Watchdog
- Watchdog – added new input field for email address to which notifications about player status will be sent (whether the player is on, off, or has not downloaded the latest published project). This email address is automatically entered into the said input field when the user logs back into their LAKIOO Cloud account.

LAKIOO Creator 1.4.1 – Release Notes
This update brings important improvements to project creation, usability enhancements, and critical bug fixes.
New Features & Updates
- Project Type Selection: When creating a new project, users must now choose between Digital Signage and Interactive projects.
- Reworked View Pages for Digital Signage: Pages in non-interactive projects are now labeled 1, 2, 3, etc. New pages can be inserted between existing ones, automatically adjusting page numbering.
- External Sensors Support for LEDs: Projects now support LED indicators on touch buttons and push buttons.
- Pickup Sensor Sensitivity: Added a sensitivity dropdown for fine-tuning the response of pickup sensors.
- Canvas Improvements: Added horizontal and vertical scrollbars for easier navigation.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where editing an External Sensors project would incorrectly switch back to the normal editing window.
- Fixed a crash caused by the “Simultaneously Playing Videos” option.

New Features & Updates
Nexmosphere Sensor Integration
- We have integrated Nexmosphere sensor support into our LAKIOO Creator, so far we’ve added support for Motion Sensor, Presence Sensor, Pick-Up sensor, Button, Touch Button and RFID
- Creation of graphical projects and subsequent use of Nexmosphere sensors is very easy and intuitive, without any need to program or script anything, everything is done by dragging & dropping and linking
- Introducing world-unique feature: a connection scheme for Nexmosphere sensors, it procedurally generates while you are creating your project, the scheme significantly simplifies real-world sensor setup and connection and eliminates the need for a technician
LAKIOO Cloud Enhancements
- Project Interaction Statistics: Download detailed interaction statistics for each project directly from Creator through LAKIOO Cloud.
- Player’s Settings Management: View and manage player settings seamlessly through the cloud, without the need to change them directly within the player.
- Player grouping: For easier publishing of projects to multiple players, they can now be grouped and their content update with one click. Each group can be renamed and it’s color changed.
- Player Watchdog: A new feature that alerts users with an E-mail notification when a player is offline but expected to be online.
- Player OS Display: Players now show up in Cloud Management along with the operating system they are running on.
- Progress Indicator: Added a progress indicator to indicate when the list of cloud players is being loaded.
- Remote Unpairing: Players can now be unpaired directly from the Creator app, no longer requiring access to the player directly.

- We’ve completely revamped, updated and added new case studies to provide better inspiration and guidance for users. There are all varieties of projects, from simple digital signage, through interactive digital signage all the way to projects that use Nexmosphere elements for interaction.

- Files that must be downloaded but can be opened in the Web widget will now open even if no downloads are allowed
- The filename of a published project now contains the Infokiosk Creator version, date and time of publication
- Image Pop-up has the option to fit the aspect ratio while scaling the widget
- PDF Pop-up has the option to fit the aspect ratio while scaling the widget
- 1-page PDF files no longer have redundant page selection on the bottom
- Paired widgets are both copied when one is copied
- Paired widgets are now both deleted if one is
- Widget Web no longer allows external application selection dialog in Windows
- A Tutorials button has been added to the main menu, which points directly to the page where the official tutorials for Infokiosk Creator are uploaded
- The position of the close button in the popups has been changed and unified to the top right corner
- Added option to lock the widget’s size and position, but still allows editing of the widget’s content
